Taken on the second day of Lunar New Year I think.

So last night I went for Amy's children's combined birthday BBQ at Downtown east. Ate until maximum full. This morning had to continue rushing Shopping Mall Mgmt presentation (was already rushing since yesterday afternoon because I finished my research really long ago and after doing so many other projects in between, I forgot how much I had to do to finish it up by adding more pictures into the presentation since it is more of a show and tell than info/research/data based presentation.

Finally submitted the RM project too, I must say the other groups had so much better ideas than us to submit, but what is done is done. Will be bucking up during presentation whoosh!

(Went for MJ after a movie that night with KK) Headache trying to plan my birthday. Machiam wedding -_- Anyway YOU (yes you reading), must come okay? :-(

Used this bun mesh thing to make this bun at Sinyan's place on Monday.

I think look quite nice leh, not too big a bun, but just nice. With my length and volume of hair, I usually can do this size, but it would definitely not be as neat as this.

So last night I wanted to go to Mink but it was full, so I went to Shake Club instead. It is just 3 weeks old, has a good DJ but the crowd is minimal. Club hop to Zouk next, where all they played was house and trance by the time I got to the members' bar, so I didn't even go down to the dance floor at all. Went for BCM at Bishan KPT before going home to sleep at about 7am. Woke up about two hours ago? Helped my mom and her friend with her food and preparation as she's hosting dinner tonight at my place.

I realised my point of view changed a lot ever since KK changed his focus on his career path. Especially with men's dressing. A guy should dress well at all times, and I don't mean forever shirts and pants and leather shoes and a nice wrist watch. Even a tee shirt and chino pants, or berms should complement each other and the wearer's figure. And seriously I rather they always wear that few polo tee/stylish tees/shirts (that either has a reputable brand or no brand at all e.g. blogshop/flea style?) than have a lot of well-known inexpensive brands of outfits. I guess this applies to girls too? Because I have already talked to a few and they too, like me, would rather wear a no-brand knitted top than say, cotton on/bossini signature tops? What do you think? Do you agree?

Taken last Saturday I think... at Wopeng.

So the past few days have been...fun. Had no regard for time because I was waking up early, staying out to chill or Mahjong the whole night, sleep in the morning, sleep in the afternoon, party again, finally got my long-deserved break, that I had been so deprived of since I got back to school projects and tests and such these few months.

Since there is still about a week of this festival, I'm going to balance work and play (yes usually I'm too busy and in need of rest for that) and try to have fun. I have like exactly a month before my last lap - my final exams and then I'll be done with school for a bit. So relax a little now, presentations, then chiong! :-)

Sorry Cody, your voice is nice and you look cute but JB is still better.

Went for dad's company dinner on Friday, KK's grandmother's place for reunion dinner and having reunion dinner later at home with my grand aunt's family and mine. Did like 50% of spring cleaning in my room, then bth and went to bed -_- I WILL FINISH BY SATURDAY/SUNDAY! Managed to have time to open the luggage of clothes and sorted out some to wear for Chinese New Year, has a new bag that I haven't used and also shoes I only worn once or twice so I should be okay, don't need to run around to get the perfect outfits for this festival. Can't be bothered, and also no time to shop :/ Save money too ^u^ Going for class gathering later then rushing to Wo Peng Restaurant for dinner.

So last night after doing my part on Shopping Mall Management project and sent out, I just surfed the net (glad I did because today SOPA black out) and slept rather late eff. Managed to wake up and make it for SQM lecture at nine this morning, then spent the rest of the three hours break in school doing project. As Shiny's design didn't work out, Yingpei attempted and it still didn't exactly make it so I use the limited computer resources the PC lab has in school to create two logo and a banner for SMIT project. Went for SMIT tutorial then went home to finish up the banner. It is 95% done I guess, just need to input the logo of the co-sponsors! Spent quite a while doing that so hopefully the others are okay with it, also don't have much time to change and I use like maybe 90% of my ability already still want some more I got to 重出江湖 and use Photoshop again. Haven't used it for at least a year because I don't believe in 'photoshopping' my face in photos anymore. Then also not much designing delegated to me for projects so... Ah! Damn rusty hope don't need to use ._. So the highlight of this post is to tell you guys that my dad is back in Singapore, he just landed this afternoon and brought back like one check-in luggage and two hand carry (he went with one luggage) Feel really really bad because when I came back the luggage was in my room and when I opened it, it was FULL of MY stuff. Like literally exploding kind so means all his stuff he either had to carry or left in in Hong Kong or something. When I went to Hong Kong from United States, I had left about half a luggage of clothes, books and other stuff there, because short distance flight doesn't give two free check-in luggage and it would cost a lot to pay the extra charge so my dad told me to leave it there so he can bring back for me when he goes back. He even had an abrasion on his knee (he claims is because of bringing all the stuff back) :( I also feel very pissed because after all if you guys remembered I took about two weeks to just unpack my luggage, and my boxes of stuff I shipped from US. Practically my room is like a shop that sells all kind of stuff, and is the very messy and disorganised kind. I feel that if you measure my room space, I think left like thirty percent or less space, and that actually includes room for walking to my bed, table, etc. I don't know how the eff I am going to unpack the luggage. And I wanted to do it tonight but I still have to try to help out for my SMIT project. PISSED MUCH. But also happy because I seriously don't have time to go Chinese New Year clothes shopping and now I have so much clothes I think everyday wear different thing can wear a few months no kidding. Really want to do spring cleaning because I'm usually a very tidy person and my room messy very long already because always got stuff to do if not is very tired :( Must do everything by Sunday whoosh! Come back to see if I succeed okay?

Anyway yesterday I was rushing my work but today I only had one project to do and I just finished my part and sent out so I have been on Tumblr and Facebook. Had dinner at Clarke Quay The Central, a restaurant call Santouka Ramen.

I think it really tasted very good, especially the pork slices because apparently according to Sheryl it is from the pig's cheek?

So it is limited in stock per day and melts in your mouth hahaha. Quite reasonable because it is ultra filling (even for a guy yes) and it is very different from the typical ramen that is not even nice (Sorry I'm a udon fan UDON WHOOSH!). (Ajisen spicy pork ramen 3/10, Santouka shio ramen 8/10)

Before the early dinner we actually walked for a little and got some stuff at the Japanese mart. I got something for KK but unfortunately not meeting him anytime tonight so I'll pass him tomorrow it is maximum cute take picture tomorrow show you ^u^ Walked to Raffles Place to take the train back home because we all had stuff to do tonight and early day tomorrow. Okay sidetrack: I really cannot wait for the next episode of Vampire Diaries. Damn nice show I feel, although the plot gets a little boring at times but usually I distract myself by staring attentively at the good looking actors and actresses lol. Anyway KK has made his future plans and I finally got over it and will be supporting his decisions. It is the worst I had expected, so I assume that was the hardest part for me, to accept that. So Charmaine's birthday on friday was pretty fun, met her and Stella, sat down to talk for awhile then Amaryllis and boyfriend showed up, then KK came and we went in Arena and opened three bottles of Martell. Attempted to make Charmaine drunk and indeed we girls did it but she was serious drunk so we left at about 3am and sat outside for more than an hour. Spent a lot of time just getting her out of the club, but it was okay after Stella came back from Zirca and then sent her home. Went home in the morning, did my part for TLE report, brainstorm for GBE video, fell asleep listening to some Malaysia music then woke up and prepared to go meet KK at Clarke Quay again in less than twelve hours? Went to eat beef aglio olio that was quite yummy, then cab to Pasir Ris for Esther's birthday chalet BBQ party. Sat and talked and ate yummy hotdogs for a few hours and went off. Going to rush to do some GBE prep then have to head out again to Suntec CC! Still make time to blog, shows how much I value you ^u^ xo

Finally TGIF! Woke up late but managed to rush out. There was practically a traffic jam at EVERY exit and every road I turn into, serious no kidding. No wonder Friday the 13th? Managed to reach school a little earlier before the actual presentation for Service Quality Management module at 8am. Lucky I had predicted so I planned to leave at a time to reach at 7.30am. So anyway last night I rehearsed my script a few times and thus I presented slightly better than usual, which makes me very glad as I was in a group of all males and they speak fairly well during presentation and usually being the soft spoken one in the group I tend to lose out in this segment. Nevertheless, I became on par with them today, from the scores we got, so I am pretty happy ^u^ After three very tedious lectures (because I was exhausted and sleepy from rushing projects and etc recently), I sent Jianhui and Leroy to the DBS bank at Clementi and went back to school for eye check up with my dearest Ika. Was pretty worried because I often get eye infections and discomfort (*TOUCHWOOD*) so I had always thought that I had been treating my precious eyes very badly. But from the check up it seems that it is fine, just some common problems faced by contact lens wearer. Very glad I got my eyes checked, now I have a peace of mind, and another check up TBA. As you all know yesterday I went to the new Parliament House for a moot debate and I was the Speaker. So basically everyone had to address me Madame Speaker and ask for my permission to speak. Pictures taken yesterday, right after lecture... Don't know why cannot tell got the Japanese make up, see from mirror can tell leh... :/

Woke up feeling cold this morning, convinced myself that it would rain today so I slipped into a pair of jeans and true enough, it had been a cold day today and also rained at the last moment before I got home, but lucky I brought my umbrella so the walk home was good!

Actually left home earlier than usual but because of the train delays and stuff, was about five minutes late to the first lecture. So unhappy with the cancelling of Pasir Ris trains in the morning, but what to do :/ But luckily I made it to the lecture hall a few minutes before Mr Ronald stopped letting people in. Rehearsed the parliament moot debate with the class today, was really confused so I hope tomorrow I would be guided and I will do well since it is graded individually for my role :/

A very uneventful day, but fattening because I ate so much in school -.- Although I love the spare time and freedom I have right now, I can't help but say I miss those days when I stayed in school after lessons for volleyball training sessions three times or more a week, till late and then squeeze with the people who just got off work in the MRT, times I spent dancing in school, almost everyday especially during waves period... Am I getting too old? Reminds me of my birthday coming very very soon, sigh...

Went to pick KK up this morning, then cab to his place to put down luggage then rush down to school again for lecture and get back Shopping Mall Management results. Did not get back the paper, but I got an A (yay!) so it's okay :x Went back to his place again, to nap, then had dinner with his sister and brother then cab home! A little anxious for tomorrow's rehearsal, even mistaken Marie's script and had mass send to the whole class x_x Hopefully I will do fine as a Madame Speaker for the parliament moot debate on Wednesday! Ate so much today although I only had light lunch and heavy dinner, feels like I gained back that KG that I lost -.-

It has been a peaceful weekend for me, did not do anything much which I'm glad as I have a hectic week and weekend ahead. Birthdays, presentations, and stuff. Cannot wait till my KK comes back! Also, I lost another KG, just by not eating like a monster like I always do. If I keep up I might get my ideal weight that I have been trying to get to since three years ago! Excited and a bit hopeful as it has been really, really, really, really long since I was at this weight, lol. Okay enough about myself (but you came to this site to read about me didn't you?) bye!

Just a stupid picture of me....

Anyway yesterday marked the last day of the first week of school. Not very hectic, but can certainly feel that it would be a fast-paced term and everything is very rushed. Thankfully for my enthu class, we managed to start on our projects early during the holidays (explaining the blog posts about me going out to school/outside school areas to meet up for projects) and so we don't have to stay back a lot in school, or set aside time to meet and there is more time allowance to finish up. So now I have a lot to do, like powerpoint slides and compiling and conclusion etc, but after this phase, I would be just waiting for the presentations to come. Had been procrastinating but going to try and finish up this weekend amidst a sleepover at Sinyan's! I will make miracles work lol. Yesterday, I also went to meet my mom after school for late brunch, then prepared to go to Calvin's BBQ at East Coast Park. Had not been there for almost a year, felt so young lol, with the younger kids walking to and fro and blasting music and staring at each other wanting trouble etc. Also there were like army troops passing by and at first they walked at the outside path where the cyclists and skaters go, but then they came closer to us at the pedestrians walking path and no offence but the sweat scent was... well I stopped eating at that point. After midnight, the usual SPAMK gathered around at the 'pavilion' while his other friends left, and we played 'the circle of death'? It was honestly pretty fun, but the guys got wasted pretty fast on hard liquor with limited ice and mixer because they talked too much and was just careless and it was so funny. I kept quiet and maintained from being over-drunk ^^ Down four cans of beer after being enlightened that beer itself does not cause beer belly, lol. Found my way home and finally slept at about five. Okay got to get started bye!

So this boy left Singapore (and me) for Beijing till next week. Pretty numb of the feeling since my mom has been flying frequently. I was pretty surprised I don't know the Changi airport staff yet? I'm just kidding of course I am not going there as frequent as others. Anyway I made a little something for him every night till he is back, it was not much, but I think I mega sweet already. Plus I had to go home from Changi airport BY TRAIN like seriously after going there so many times regardless of where I was at, I had driven there and just now I spent a friggin an hour and a half to get home. Seriously I could have gotten home, taken a shower, laid down with a good book and probably be half way through that book. I think as I mature as a driver, I tend to drive faster and I had been able to reach home in less than 30 minutes? 1.5 hour was just ridiculous but I still fought the urge at any point to alight and take a cab. Managed to walk home too (convinced myself I was burning the calories for the chicken wings I ate yesterday afternoon and this afternoon) but I was unwell and carrying a bunch of stuff oh well. At least I'm safe and sound at home now. Sidetrack: I totally did not know but if you sit while in the train from one end of Singapore to the other, you would realise that the seat is actually not at all comfortable and unless you were in a perfect sitting posture at ALL times, it kind of hurts the back and the bum. Was just about to text KK just now when I realise I couldn't. Thank god for globalisation so I would still be able to contact him when he touch down. First time being away after our reunion after the 7 month separation, I'm feeling it, definitely, but not as much as that time. Weekends already packed and there are projects to do!

School starts tomorrow, I can't believe it is so soon, but I'm still glad I had a few mornings to sleep in. Now I have to get used to going for lectures, doing tutorials and studying and doing projects. At least I know in less than three months I would be graduating. Which I am half happy and sad because in about three months' time I'm hitting the big two. With reality checking in, I can't help but feel depressed yet again. Need. To. Make. More. Happy.

My new hair for new year! :D Not much difference actually lol.

Overall, I feel that this is perhaps the hardest year I have gone thru. Not willing to believe that, I went to look at my archives (thank god for this historic blog of mine that I hanged on to now it is paying off to help me remember stuff!) and realised around this time last year, I wasn't too happy because I was preoccupied with Waves 15 and my dad's health. To me it had been worst or rather, the hardest year that I had been thru too. I guess that is almost the same for everyone out there, where we all experience things that were within our control, but we made the wrong decisions and could not turn things back to the way it was, and things that were not even within our control, and we simply have to continue life as it goes on. But bear in mind one thing my readers, is that although it gets harder and harder every year, we might face more happy occasions, sad occasions, problems, challenges, but look where we are today? You are still here aren't you? Things might not have turned better for you after the unfortunate event, but guess what? You are still here, to make things better this year! Every year I tell myself, yes I am a year older, but also, I am a year wiser, and stronger. I learnt how to give and take, I learnt how to let go when I have to, and I learnt that there are always bigger problems out there and you are not the only one suffering at this moment. I guess this year's breakthrough for me is to spend almost seven months away from Singapore, a place I already call home. I don't feel as attached, as I will go overseas at least once a year, sometimes twice and even thrice. More often to Hong Kong where all my relatives are, and also to other places. But the longest I had been away was about a month? This seven months out in the United States, in a totally different environment, had been the biggest challenge for me yet. I realised now, that I am a little bit back to what I was before I went, I forgot what I grew up to when I was there alone, with only my friends to depend on for some stuff. The freedom and independence I experienced was unbelieveable and had changed me. Nothing is no longer so important that it would affect all of my life, yes, not even my family or BGR that some people still think is their life (and they would die when they lose their 'other half'). Your life is not over because you still have your family. After you have your own family (get married and kids etc.), then you come and tell me about it. But right now, at the age of (close to TuT) 20, I cannot pin point which year was the best, which was the worst? I could only picture some of the best moments of my life, and I don't just mean happy moments, but also sad moments where I learn about myself or change something inside me that change my view on things. Also people's big moments that had left impact on me and my life. Those moments, are truly the best and you cannot just forget them and just say that a certain year was the best because there were more of those kind of special moments in that year. What I am trying to say here is perhaps, for 2012, we should all just take a step back, look at who is truly with you and appreciate them more this year, and those who you are just trying so hard to stick by, and just let them go. If the year is ending in 2012, how are you spending YOUR 2012? I would be the one just embracing life as it brings me my worst obstacles and challenges where I overcome them and make the best out of it. Expect less, appreciate more. My quote for the year ahead?: Don't live for a reason. Live for several. Don't focus on one thought. Keep your mind occupied with a dozen. Don't be happy/sad. Open up your heart and let your emotions flow and overtake to experience. Don't stay in your comfort zones. Dare to challenge your limits. Happy new year my readers. I hope you enjoyed the rough ride with me in 2011. Thank you and lets welcome 2012 with our hearts open for more love in this world! :D

A 'dream board' I made for KK to show him my support in what he is doing now, did it few weeks ago. He kept telling me he was going to make one but always didn't have the time so I did it for him and now it is in his room with more stuff on it since he got the board he had more motivation to fork out two seconds to complete it. ^u^

Anyway last night I met up with my GIRLS GENERATION MAKE YOU FEEL THE HEAT no just kidding, I met with my girls Charmaine, Stella and Jieying. Amaryllis couldn't make it because of her FYP :( BUT she's going to make it up to me the next time hehe ^u^ So we went to eat at my favourite udon place at Liang court, then after walking around, we met KK and went to Aqua Nova. Bumped into a few people and eventually after a bottle of Martell VSOP (It was like the small bottle only), we got high and sat outside the toilet hoping to get into the full-house rebel. I mean who were we kidding? Did we really want to get in the non-VIP area and squeeze with 1 million people? We decided to be smart girls who would not be taken advantage WILLINGLY, and went to find a cab (in say, 5 seconds?) to go home. I bet the others took at least an hour to even step out of the club after the party ends and then another 45 minutes just to get in a line for a cab. Jieying was like wasted so we called up her friend and then we send them off before going off. Was like super sober compared to other nights but had fun because my girls super cute and funny! Spending today at home. Shall do up another post later to conclude 2011. See ya suckerrrrrrs. (I think the alcohol is not out of my system yet so...)

So my mom is back! Picked her up last night at the airport, and she bought me shorts and perfume! Totally not what I expected but I am just glad she is back ^u^ Overslept by 50 minutes this morning but was the third to reach school for SQM project today, thank you to myself for setting an early alarm for occasions like this :P Did as much as I could for the project and left after three. Went home to catch up on How I Met Your Mother because Melvin just passed me the other five seasons, haven't even tried to stop myself till now! I think Barney is ... wait for it... super cute only! Lol. Going to rush Shiny a bit so I can hurry finish the SMIT report now that only left her part, before I start my wild weekend starting tomorrow! Of course I'm going to get my hair done too (FINALLY). Not sure if I should get straight bangs again/curly or straight hair/what colour but you'll find out soon enough ;)

Woke up really early today, met KK for breakfast before heading down to school for SMIT project. Halfway thru I felt 'something' flowing and I was like -_- because I forgot to count my days and forgot it was going to be these few days. Had to buy from cheers then it was two MALE staff -_- Furthermore when the guy asked whether I needed a carrier and I said yes, he then gave me the translucent kind -_- x3. But I think at FC5 everyone minds their own business so I didn't really care... Helped out for the banner and then continued to compile the report till about 3 in the afternoon. Now the parts left for the report is in Yingpei's hands so I am very relaxed about it as she would deliver early if not, on time. :) Also have the logo description part form Shiny, but I don't worry so much because it can be chugged into appendix/excluded if circumstances comes for it. After that, I just have to input into report, do up appendices and content page and I'll be done! The other parts of the project has been delegated (I hope fairly) to the other members, hopefully all would be done by 5th January. Glad I had took the initiative to start compiling the report early, do introduction, content page, appendices, bibliographies, cover page after doing my own delegated part so now I don't have to rush! Felt really ill in the afternoon, so went to KK's place for pain killers and took a nap while he did his stuff, then went home to prepare dinner while he went to his office. KK came over to my place last night and I whipped up a Christmas meal for my brother, dad and him. Passed him the present I prepared few days ago, think + find time + buy + wrap + hide from him was no easy job but managed because we weren't talking a lot also.

Bought him exactly what he needs for his upcoming business trip, so I must say I am a practical + good shopper with good taste because he likes it ^^ Of course, for dinner we had leftovers so easier for me to prepare dinner these few days :p Was dead tired because I only took a short nap then spent the whole night cooking and eating (yes such a chore to gain weight! =x) BUT I went to watch How I Met Your Mother till 1 plus -_- Had to wake up at 8 this morning to go to Seletar for some filming for my project with Anna, Shikin, KK and Jianhui. Planned + shoot + quick breaks took us a good few hours at the country club, but was worth it as we accomplished all we had for today's agenda. Went to Changi next for the last few scenes, then had a late lunch and finish up the 3D model we have. Drove Shikin home then went home took some flu medicine (yes I'm down with flu right after taking care of my was-ill brother, loser sister me -.-) took a short nap but was rudely woken up to have dinner (f haven't even digest finish) at Restaurant Hoshigaoka. Couldn't finish my food, obviously. So now I have to do up SMIT (All other projects done yay me!) then can go to sleep and prepare for school again for projects tomorrow. By the way Shikin was commenting that I look like Eunjung (again...yes which I still deny because I really think she's very much prettier) AND Brown Eyed Girls Ga-in? So being a k-pop noob, I had to google her face...:

So I went to Beer Market (boring LBD style because I am a cliche and too f lazy to be more creative) with Jasmine Chenxi Kiatjiun Calvin Ongrui Marcus Sam Michelle Yanloon and KK to count down to Christmas Day together. I didn't even put much mascara last night, seriously getting old and lazy ahaha must be from too much clubbing. Had some whiskey and a great time partying with them, never fails to laugh at epic stuff that happens within us ^^ Some of them got really tipsy (we know who, and you can spot in my Facebook album!), while the others (including me!) was just highyeeyaiyeeyai! Left at I think, 3+ because I see like CMI already, and everyone was happy!

So I was thinking my hair looks pretty good last night IDK why! Only certain angles and lightings though, otherwise still looks like grass le-sigh...

Oh, after count down, we did Christmas gift exchange and Calvin got my interesting gift! Ahahaha seriously hope he will try to use it :P I got Jasmine's gift, a super cute box (which I'm sure I have things to put in because I'm such a messy person who needs organisers!) with super a lot of sweets (I HATE SWEETS but nvm) and chocolates! No matter, I love the gift ^^

KK joined shortly after and we had a f long talk and... made up so yay! I had lost 2 KG but I think I gained it ALL back from the Christmas feasting these few days :( Okay I damn stupid to change to timeline on Facebook now it sucks (although I have nothing to hide), and so while looking at my history in Facebook (which I predict everyone would when timeline is auto-converted for everyone MUAHAHA), I realised how skinny I was! Urgh now I'm like a buffalo compared to then. How did I do it? :x But my complexion was ... -_- Puberty perhaps. Now like puberty 2nd round man, I better get some beauty sleep!

I want to make a rant tonight. Some 'professional' drivers think they are likea boss or something? I admit I am a lousy newbie driver signal too slow sometimes, cut lane too fast whatever, but I always kena those people who will speed up, cut the lane and go in front of me then purposely slow down??? Like I KNOW you are a good driver, must show off skills or try to wage a war with me or not??? Especially those keep horning like some mad cow road user when I already tried to apologise! Then some just cannot lose? When I'm on the fast lane or middle lane, I keep at the speed when nearing speed cameras, then they will purposely tailgate then after go to my left and then cut me then slow down like #@&$(#&$ And there are those who die die also refuse to let you cut the lane to make a turn or exit the expressway urgh. So because of people like that, I learn under pressure how to 'fight a war/way on the road' and when I can finally master that, I will be like the rest without the P plate.

Have no mood for Christmas or count down, will just attend 1 party and that is that.

Usually people share their joy with others but not their sorrow. But why does KK do the opposite to me? Plain disappointed I was not the first one to know he had his breakthrough, hurt when he didn't intend to tell me, and utterly broken when he tried to hide it from me until I had anger in my tone while questioning before he finally spoke half the truth. In fact, I don't even know what to say anymore. Going off to compile less than half of SMIT since I only received one out of five of-standard work and my own. Less work for me for now, so I have no complains!

Finally done with my part for SMIT. Procrastinated the longest, because I thought it was the easiest. Turns out I spent at least 5 hours doing it, FUUUUUU. Eyes damn tired now, tomorrow still have RM meeting in SCHOOL in the morning.

Also, my mom is on the plane now to New Zealand for ten days -_- Yesssss ten friggin' days which means I have a housewife style. But I also get to use the car more often teehee! Time to bathe and relax a bit then turn in liao! Good night!

Met with an unpleasant incident with a very bad attitude girl working for them. Like seriously, she is WORKING, so even if I'm younger she should have the basic respect for a guest, yet she could shout and give attitude. Email-ed the company (which they replied) and hope she is prepared for their reprimand.

Went to Orchard Central today to do project and treat my hair. Smells good but still cui, sigh. Going over to Sinyan's place later.

This holiday is probably one of the most wanted rest of my school life. It is really not that easy to forget all about the hectic life of projects and tests for more than half a year, then come back to be in the busiest school curriculum of my entire poly life. This is indeed a short but very previous 3 weeks of well deserved rest, but unfortunately, I HAVE ALREADY BEGUN RESUMING ON PROJECTS. Like seriously, I woke up at 7am today to do project, and had just completed my part for one project (because it is due tomorrow) the others would have to wait. In a way, it distracts me from other things I don't want to think about... Anyway, I have been so deprived of social life/entertainment that I feel like a cave-woman trapped in new clothes. So I have been asking almost everyone I know (lol ok not really, just those that I am on very good terms with :x) out, and so it took a week to get kicking because last week I was pretty much glued to the screen of my laptop watching a Canto drama which is so exciting I am not even blinking much. But this week I am busy MAXIMUM with projects and nights out, and the following week is Christmas already WHAT THE EFF. It feels like fun all crammed up together. I have yet to prepare for the festival where I have been waiting for a year! I recall myself anticipating this time about 10 months ago in February where I thought I would be like a woohoo after internhip but guess what? I have a feeling this Christmas will just fly past me and Poof, I am looking to a new year (which means my birthday is coming soon) which means I am turning the big 2. I cannot stress how miserable I am. Can anyone tell me where is the pause button to my life? I need to sit back and relax.

So basically for all 4 of the tests, only Shopping Mall Management module I think was easy, what I had predicted for the questions really did come out. Look at those friggin' roots! And that was taken more than a month ago.

I'm beginning to look like those 'ah lian' that has black colour hair on top half of their length than brown/gold on bottom half. But I cannot dye my hair because it is already cui!!! Actually the top part is okay is just the last 15cm that I am so tempted to snip off but I know I will instantly regret. Aiyah, I will deal with it after my mid-sem tests. Which brings me to say that I have revised briefly for all 4 tests and did some past year papers for 2 of the modules. Tomorrow shall be another fruitful day and then I have the first paper on Monday and everything ends on Thursday then I will party like some SOTCOW (acronym for one of my module notes lol) I was stalking on Facebook and is again determined to shed some done-nothing-but-add-to-my-misery weight and dress up more often. Looking more and more like a hag nowadays in school (my classmate even asked if I was going Sentosa after school one day because I was dressing so casual x_x) This is also because I have so many clothes I have yet to even wear once, from states, and from my mom and probably I'm getting another batch of clothes from my aunt in Hong Kong next month. Then also Chinese New Year is coming soon then going to buy more clothes but no time to wear then buy for what?!?!? I am clearly not clear-minded now (pun intended). Hi! Didn't go for SMM lecture, but managed to study so that was good. Went for TLE tutorial which I also managed to learn something so at least it was not a wasted trip. Met Liyu and Lorayne and talked till I almost lost my voice. Had a very good time chatting with the 2 of them, since I haven't met them for more than, 8 months? Going to meet again either mid Dec or January since Lorayne is going overseas for the whole month. Should be driving to school tomorrow, so I shall not pon any more tutorial and lecture. Ok determined. Now I have to go surf the net for uni! (Which reminds me of D's cute dog, GOSH must stop.)

Taken some time last month... There seems to be an effect like glow in the picture but I swear I didn't do anything and it was directly from my BB camera.

After last night, I am once again convinced that KK is the most awesome boyfriend yet. Although I had felt ridiculed, but nevertheless, he had been able to sympathize with how I felt and profusely took the blame for everything. And because of that, I forgave him and even put on make up and put on a dress, but since the situation had already gone too bad, we decided to spend some us-time. Went to SCC for a little gym work-out. Feeling better but still really guilty. Although I am back to the weight I was before I left for states, I significantly need to shed some fats that hadn't been of existence. Now I am just disgusted when I look in the mirror (or Facebook pictures -_-)

This is a busy period for my KK. Yes I still see him almost everyday in school but it has been a long time since we spent time with and for each other. But I know we're going to pull thru! I can't wait for that day ^^

So I drove to town today, was a pretty good feeling, since I've either been on people's cars, cabs, buses or trains to town all my life. Watched Twilight, had lunch at Nihon Mura and then back to school for TLE tutorial and SQM project. Also did a bit of SMIT during tutorial. Met Sheryl impromptu style, went to get some stuff and came home for a very filling dinner which I instantly regret now. So abruptly start with my reviews of the movies I just watched recently..:

Apply of My Eye was a good one with adult or rather, high/college school humour in it. The main actress is surprisingly much older than what she portray herself in the movie, and also, I don't like the ending because I always prefer happy endings (oops, spoiler?) I mean, the reality is already so lack of simple, happy endings, I would really wish to see otherwise in movies, fiction, so that people will still have hope, or at least feel happy after the movie. Just my point of view. I know the reason why movies are getting so realistic and based on 'true stories' because there are people who want them, and I have no objections. Many must have watched it, so I don't think I have to ask people to go for it? I don't think it was that touching, though KK cried. Jianhui might have, if Leroy hadn't spoil it as he was watching it the second time lol.

The most adorable movie I have watched the whole year, period. There were so many, so many scenes where I could hear the whole cinema (and myself) 'aww-ing' unconsciously, and I was actually very touched by the dad-and-son bond (oops, spoiler again!?) in the movie. Although the first one is still the better one IMO, the sequel is good too. Love the kids' voice!

And this is what I watched today, Twilight's Breaking Dawn part 1. Seriously, it's taking so long to release each movie that I really forgot about the details of the story. It might also because I was so engrossed I actually took less than 2 days to finish the entire series of 4 books (or was it 5?) Therefore while watching the movie, KK had asked me some questions (he had also read but also forgotten, thanks to our awesome memories) and I couldn't answer right on the spot and both of us spent quite a few times during the movie figuring out parts of it.

Basically, I wouldn't recommend for people who hadn't read it to watch it, because the movie's focus is on the visual effects (have a feeling part 2 might be 3D -.-) and also the crucial parts of the story. Which means you might not get what is happening since you hadn't read the book. For example, they did not show why Bella wanted to keep the baby, or why Jacob cared about Bella so much, and later the baby. All this would be known if you read the book, which describes vividly their thoughts and those missing jigsaw puzzles that would complete the whole picture. Overall, I think it is not too bad, the visuals and sounds and all. I could tell it was a high budget movie, their props are all expensive-looking, branded and also set to be destroyed in a matter of seconds lol. Also, more blood and expression from the main duo.

I have SQM presentation tomorrow, and aiming to print SMIT project tomorrow, so I got to go!

Anyway, today went by like a breeze since there was only 1 tutorial which were presentations from my classmates and 1 hour lecture. Love days like these where many lessons are cancelled :x Poured after school, but managed to get to Woodlands not too late, met Megan and had Pastamania (their service and food sucks in the afternoon!) and walked and caught a movie the Immortals!

It was really good, mainly because of the hot men with their hot bods. They practically bare their chest in the ENTIRE movie, and well let's just say women will enjoy this more than men although it is like greek mythology and war genre etc. The only cutback was the gore, no wonder it is rated M18, the cruelty in greek fights are far too great to witness, I had to cover my eyes in a few scenes because it was unbearable. Cannot imagine in 3D. Which makes me think men will like this too, after all. Definitely worth a watch but make sure you are of age! Seriously need to be old enough to think maturely about this and not just act cool sneak in -_- Feeling very pissed off these few days because of ..PMS? Like I get too upset with things I usually let pass, maybe because it is accumulated, also maybe because of the cycle. Oh well. I also need some rest!

P/s: My face got lighter a shade! Few days back I was putting on my foundation and after putting on one half of my face, it got significantly darker! Previously have been using light before going to states, switched to medium -_- now I can go back to light medium yes! Didn't come a easy way but I'm getting fairer again!

Went to Oakham Market to shop (bought a very nice skirt show you guys next time when I wear it!)

Went to Chinatown's People Park Centre for some good claypot rice!

Walked a little bit, got koi and bounced (take to Marina Bay then all the way back to Woodlands) home.

Took so many pictures though I did not bring my camera...

Asked about today's plans since yesterday afternoon non-stop, but did not get a definite answer, so I assumed I'm going Clarke Quay today. Put on nice make up, thought 3x longer than usual of what to wear, took the public transport instead of driving (was almost late and rushed out in the process), packed (too) light for school, and only got to know he has to take a rain check when I was almost in school. Maybe God's way of comforting me before I know of the bad news (so last minute, it was a brand new standard), I got a seat a few stops after I got on the Pasir Ris train.

Since it was the perfect day to hang out as school finally ends early and the weather was awesome, I went straight home and drove my brother out to hang out, since he could not really walk as he just sprained his ankle, we went nearby and even did grocery shopping together for dinner tonight. Mom is coming home tomorrow, which means tonight I cooked the last dinner for my family as my mom will take over from tomorrow, also, tomorrow might be the last time I'm driving to school. It would be a while before I get to use the car for a whole day again. Glad that she is coming back though, it has been a tough, tough week for me. Juggling school and household chores solely, it was not something I expected as I thought my experience in the States would take me thru in a breeze. The only up side is that I have a driver's license so I did not have to walk to and fro from home to the MRT station and squeeze with thousands of people when I was already so tired. Which I did today, and it turns out for no reason. Just glad the day is over and my SMIT project is in progress. Things to do: TLE tutorial, SMIT report, SQM powerpoint, SMM report, SQM video editing (to be done tomorrow).

Drove to school again today, but not driving tomorrow because I'm hanging out after school and also I haven't taken the train for quite a while, buy the train concession already then never use! Was feeling super stress for SMIT just now, but I got it sorted out so I'm taking a break and resuming tomorrow. Left SMM and SMIT for this week to chiong! Had migraine and was feeling so miserable during RM tutorial today, even though it was combined class of 05 and 07 which means it is more fun and crowded but oh well there is still next week! Had photo-taking session too! Probably going to get the year book haha since I heard the price drop and it is the last year! Managed to get my laptop fixed and start on SMIT during the 3 hour break today, feeling quite accomplished! Okay I'm doing a mask now so I gtg!

Went to watch the 9.33fm music awards last night at the Indoor Stadium, did not expect Stefanie Sun to be there, so I was really really happy and was really touched to hear her sing a total of 5 songs, live, after so long. At that moment I remembered the days I used to be a crazy fan with my primary school mate Lynette... Anyway I am really going crazy because I have so much work not done yet so I'm going off with this short post! School starts again tomorrow, I'm going to drive to school so please don't pour on me! That is me trying to act cool. I'm under-age to drink in America -_- Anyway TGIF! And also 11/11/11. How did you spend this special day? Yes there is really no big deal but today is only happening every hundred years, you would not even be able to see the next 11/11/11. Which makes me wonder, will this blog still cease to exist a hundred years from now? Will people be using another 'Internet'? Just a random thought. Today went by okay. Met Mr David Wong at Polar Cafe. He offered to buy me a curry puff since it was Polar Cafe's last day. A pity, I have yet to try its famous waffles and chix curry :/ The employees look really sad too... At times during SQM tutorial and SMIT lecture I felt like it was never going to end but after staying back to do project awhile, I rushed back to woodlands, bought some groceries, prepared, took a shower, cooked and ate and tadah, it is already almost 9 when the last time I kept track of time was 5+! Time passes faster when you are REALLY busy. And right now I am supposed to be busy too, but I'm procrastinating a little. Shall go finish up SQM then begin with SMIT. I STILL HAVEN'T CALL UP HP. I effing need to have some sort of urgency. Or else I'll heed my classmates advice and just get Microsoft office from school. -_-

These few days I have been extremely busy! Spent the anniversary with my dearest, had some outdoor fun finally after almost a year. But he was feeling unwell so we left for his place with our itinerary half-completed. Hopefully can resume when he is free in December! Had discussion for Resort Management project on Tuesday, (managed to get to school on time at 9am I don't know how! But I was almost late) and then on Wednesday supposedly discussion for Sponsorship Management in Tourism, but did not manage to do much, did Service Quality Management instead, and also went to town for the last part of the SQM project. Now I have a lot of editing sh*t to do but (fighting!)
Sent my mom to the airport today, and did a little bit of RM and (I forgot what) and rested for awhile and then drove to school. I keep getting lost, because I rely so much on the GPS and my GPS sucks like seriously. Drove back home and bought groceries and prepared and folded clothes and took a shower. Going to cook soon. Went for hair treatment, I think I need to go several more times. Already have a new colour to dye in mind, just waiting for my hair condition to get better before doing it! Drove out, but since I had so much work to do, had to go home early to do projects and tutorials. Very worried about SMIT because my group has been stuck for two weeks. I don't understand, how different someone can be during work and play. But I think my group members are all non-problematic so everything will be fine (there's 2 projects for SMIT:/). Still haven't got a chance to call up HP, so I'll have to do my work using my brother and KK's laptop. Well most of it. I'm putting on so much weight but I can't keep track because my weighing machine spoil. Going to shop/SQM (you'll know why in time) project tomorrow, thinking whether I should chill out tonight. That's me holding a paper in Hong Kong! (When I had my beautiful long hair T_T) Went to school today with new contact lenses. Super not used to big eye lens ever since I wore the normal size ones, but I'll get by. Lessons were okay, had lunch with dad because he happened to be working near Dover, and then afternoon tea break/2nd lunch with Alden and KK at Pepper Lunch. Walked for a little awhile and catch up before going home. Finally am going to treat my hair tomorrow. I feel so empty and lost, because it has been almost 3 months since I last coloured my hair. I used to do it every few months, before ugly roots start showing, but I had made the stupidest mistake to perm my hair and so now my hair is in a bad condition :( The bottom 15cm is really in critical condition, (top is fine), hopefully tomorrow would help. My bangs are also way too long so it will be great if I get a trim! I am so excited about this coming Monday!!! Hope everything goes well ^^ Just surfed the net on some of the local universities, I might get in after all. Gonna ask around!

Which by the way is at KK's place and I have yet to get it back -_- Have sore eyes out of a sudden today, skipped TLE tutorial when I already did the tutorial. Pissed off with myself, but feeling good from the rest I had this afternoon. Managed to complete 1 out of 2 personal itineraries that I am supposed to plan out, the next one due December, hopefully I will not procrastinate and delay it. Told my dad about UNLV that Sab is in and he became upset because my back up plan is a private U and expensive. Already have in mind that if I'm not able to get into a good course (I think I still can, but might not get in the best choice I want), I will just take up a loan like some Singaporean and continue Tourism. After all, I should make use of my Singaporean identity. If I under any consequences, declare as HK resident, I confirm regret never make full use of my identity. :/ Feeling quite confused and upset (because my dad is upset) and tired and pissed (that I fell asleep and thus did not call HP about my laptop so I can't use Microsoft Word AND PPT). Well, at least I accomplished something today.

That is me, with mighty Hulk at Madame Tussauds! Look at the length of my hair! :( Today had been a long day, but I felt okay. Had to wear formal attire, for which I spent an effort because I was deciding if I should wear heels (making the whole look more formal) but in the end I didn't (thank god!) and wore a shirt. Turns out that the talk after school, people who attended it were wearing really casual! Could have worn what I usually wear for SQM tutorial (smart casual) and still be looking more formal -.- Went to Jack's Place for dinner with my dad and brother, because I had a sudden craving for steak and it was really near my place. Had a good time, my dad actually shared interesting stuff in his younger days and we all had a good laugh. Have to do my TLE (Tourism Law and Ethics) tutorial already, after two modules of law, I realise more clearly that I will not be a lawyer, no matter how well I did for the previous law module. x_x Oh right, watched the first sequel of Scream before dinner with my brother at home. I guess that is how people get frightened of suspense, and people creeping behind etc. I don't think the mask was that scary though. And I thought the person behind the mask is rather thin (see the legs) and easy to trip/attack back lol. Have not been able to find my stuff around, my room is so messy but I don't have the time to tidy up. Eff. And I have been eating way too much already. Even though I've decided not to take NAPFA but I'm SO unfit right now. Might not be very fat YET but certainly not fit. :(

So Halloween Horrors was quite fun, not as scary as I thought, but the scare actors succeeded shocking me a few times, so I'll give them the credit for that! My beautiful shoes were killing me that night, and even after I took a cab straight after the event, the next day I had an 8am lesson so I didn't get much sleep. Laptop's office pack is haywire, so I had to go over to KK's in the afternoon to do my organisational chart, and then we both fell asleep right away till really late. Till now I am still very tired. But I'm going to upload some pictures before turning in. Am so glad I finished all my tutorials for the week, so I have nothing to worry about. Hope my dearest boy can get well really soon because soon it is going to be our 2nd anniversary really soon and my plan will fail if he is still unwell :(

So the first week of school has been pretty normal. Feeling eff old because it is the first time I saw the year 1 students and they are ALL XMM and XDD like seriously. What is with the malnutrition trend now? Skinny looks good yes, but they look like secondary 2 students to me. Managed to finish my tutorials, I KNOW. After what? Seven to eight months of not going to lectures, doing tutorials diligently, I thought I was never going to get used to school life all over again. Got a little help from KK but we managed to survive the first week! I still haven't got a job, but I already spend over a hundred on-line shopping. It was normal for a single receipt to be that amount when I was still in the States. But right now, I'm not earning like that and I'm definitely having trouble managing my shopping urges. I think I am okay already lor, back in Singapore for a whole month and haven't really been shopping at all. Anyway, I'm so puzzled who I should hang with during Halloween next week, or whether I should celebrate at all! Time-consuming, effort (to dress up) and $$. I think I'll just decide when the day comes. I'm down with flu for a few days already but just took panadol. Second week of school (projects begins) let's go!

I assume everyone is going to sleep early tonight - because there is school for everyone tomorrow. Yes, even the girl who had her fun and vacation for more than half a year. I know I am supposed to be thankful for whatever is given to me, but 3 8am lessons in a week? And 2 9am, like seriously. For the last semester I am going to spend the mornings rushing to school early in the morning, squeezing with 9000 more commuters on the MRT. Did I mention I haven't done so for a long, long time? I bet it is going to be a wonderful experience tomorrow morning. *Le dramatic sigh
BUT STOP. Looking on the bright side, tomorrow is also the FIRST day of the LAST semester in SP! However much I will miss being a student in my beloved polytechnic (despite its cruel ways to handling our GPA and etc matters), it is time I move on to the next phase of my life! I am feeling quite excited, to get through with all the busy and frustrating workload (or so I have heard from the other half of my course mates), to learn all that I need to learn that the poly deems is sufficient for a diploma holder for someone who majors Tourism. Maybe because I just watched the latest episode of Vampire Diaries season 3, I am just psyched for school to reopen and see those new or rather, matured faces.

Hi there I found this picture on Tumblr, thought it was really really like I could feel the emotions that were going on when the picture was taken so I downloaded it. I didn't touch, my room at all, eff. I only remembered I'm supposed to, now. Lol. Which reminds me I got to check something and reply on BBM. But I made cupcakes today! Feeling really happy because I chilled at home the whole day today. Took my weight and I think my weighing machine is spoilt because I don't think I lost weight at all from this week of crazy-feasting. Tried to tidy up my room, yes, tried. I know I said I had already unpacked everything from the states and Hong Kong. But when I say unpack, I literally mean so. I kind of chucked everything that is of the same category to one side, and cleared out my boxes (that I mailed back to Singapore from where I lived for half a year), and my luggages. I am too lazy, but since I haven't asked anyone out and no one asked me, I'm going to have another awesome day at home tomorrow, where I would have a lot of time to spare, then maybe I'll really finish getting my room organised before school reopens. YES school is friggin' going to reopen. I cannot believe I had spent half a year working (I prefer to say, having fun!) overseas, and kind of been in a carefree vacation for a month, and now I have to get back to school? Also not to mention, since this is my last term, I really have to work harder if I want to get into a local university at all. Met up with Sabrina and Nadiah the other day and I'm quite tempted to join UNLV. I mean, it IS tourism, which means I'll be studying what I have been comfortably studying about, and I really have interest, and enjoy. But right now I do realise tourism industry is not exactly the ideal industry to work in anymore, compared to just a few years ago. Various reasons, I'm not going to bother to explain. Perhaps I'll figure out what to do during this last semester in Singapore Polytechnic! I changed the layout of my tumblr, really love it. Also watching True Blood. Looking past the concentration on adult content, I think season 4 has, by far, the most interesting and exciting storyline compared to the previous 3? (Sorry if I am wrong, because I stopped after watching a few episodes in season one because I felt it was just all about sex) Also watching Modern Family, Nikita, and you know, GG and VD. I think I am better off watching American dramas than Korean ones. Don't get me wrong, it is because the Korean actors are WAY too hot. Like no joke. I'm just going to end off abruptly over here because I have a drama to catch. Savouring the last moments of freedom to watch dramas all day long, before I get so busy I won't even have time to blog. *Le dramatic sigh*

So on Sunday I went to Amiel's party till late, met KK and slept really late, got up really early on Monday and spent the day travelling/walking about with KK, went for hip hop training in the evening which was house, till late, managed to get home soon after the training ended, but still could only get to bed after 12, woke up early again to do what (I forgot) and went to Seletar Country Club with SPAMK, played mahjong till late, got home in the morning like 4am, slept awhile only to wake up early again to hang with V, and now I am here, waiting for my hair to dry, then sleep, to wake up early AGAIN to meet Michelle.

Can't described, but haven't been this tired for a long time. Enjoyed myself very much these few nights though! I'm psyched about tomorrow/later! Will let you know on next post ;)

Yesterday I went to Seletar Country Club to gym out because I'm fat like a ...
Went for a run and I almost died just running a 2.4km like seriously how am I going to take NAPFA like that? Some more my timing was cui.

Went to Amiel's birthday party and it was really really good to see those familiar faces and 7 to smoke. It was a great night. Went to meet KK after that.

Went for hip hop training as I have promised myself, with Stella. Turns out to be Daniel's 3rd out of 4 classes that he would be teaching SDZ tonight, and it was of course, House. Have NEVER tried house, so it was pretty intense, but I was already mentally prepared to sweat it out because I already knew it's going to be a tough night before I even went. So now I can't feel my legs and my back hurts so much, from the gym and training. Really want to go for Daniel's last class but I'm also looking for a job. My schedule is packed and sorted out, yet it can change drastically by the minute. If you're my friend and reading this right now and haven't met me, text me so we can arrange a date! Otherwise I really gonna be busy with work and then school.
I mean, if people organising thing and ask for your opinion then you anything anything, then when people plan already then you just build a bridge and get over it la?

So my laptop is back, faster of course, but all the data is also gone. Spent two days downloading all the software and some songs. This evening, I finally transferred the pictures from my portable HD to my laptop. As my laptop crashed way back when I was still living in my apartment in the States, I had bought a portable HD to store the pictures I took in my camera, so that I have a lot of space to take a lot of pictures when I was in New York. And while I was browsing the pictures, it suddenly occurred to me that I am okay with losing some of the pictures I had, as most of them I have it on Facebook and I already backed up the pictures I have before I went to the States, BUT Samantha and I had spent a whole day at Epcot, taking pictures with all the possibly good-looking guys working, and had been so proud of that accomplishment. Thinking that I had already lost it along with my other not-so-important-compared-to-those-pictures, I was feeling really upset and then I scrolled down at the first folder that I have backed up in my HD and TADAH! The pictures are there! I had actually put all the pictures into my laptop so that I could prepare to have a lot of memory space to take pictures at Epcot and before I could upload those into my laptop too, it crashed. Lucky or what!??!?! It is okay if you don't get it, I know it is pretty confusing. Anyway I am just glad the pictures are still here. Now they are on Facebook!

I can't believe tomorrow is effing Saturday. I already spent five days at home!? I need more me time!!! -_- But I know I have people to meet too... And I will be meeting my friends starting Sunday. Excited and nervous at the same time!

I am pretty over the death of my laptop's HD. Well, at least my laptop is still on warranty, so I'm basically getting a new second-hand laptop to start anew! Using my desktop now, it is awfully slow because of the amount of memory I have inside (I have no idea how it accumulate until like that) so now I'm running disk clean up...

Anyway I started clearing the mess in my room for space for my US life to move into my SG life and apparently it is taking more effort than I expected. I estimate about 3 more days to finish putting everything together at this rate. I'm currently taking a break cos I had been packing up the whole afternoon and evening before dinner. I have too much clothes, I need to do something about it, seriously -.-

Did you guys know I bought a new BB? I am really new to it. Of course, it is smarter than I am, I'm still trying to figure it out. Will really help if BB-users can leave comments on tips of how to use it or care for it etc.?

Really glad I came back early before school reopens so I can settle down for a little. Enjoying this period of time staying at home and having some me-time, like what Candy and Shiny says, haha.

Update: My laptop has unfortunately crashed and I'm not going to bother my dear room mate by cramming her personal laptop with my millions of images, so I'll only be uploading stuff hopefully in October, or a little earlier.

I am going to take a few minutes of my precious sleep time to blog. This two weeks has definitely been the highlight of my life in America, fo' real real not play play. Tomorrowland and Splash Mountain Exit has been the two work locations I frequent the most, especially Splash. I have met the nicest, craziest, funniest, cutest people there, and because I'm crazy too, we have so much time together, laughing and playing around, though most of the time they laugh at the Asian (it actually seems pretty awkward for me to call myself that).

I have been at Splash like, at least 3 or 4 days in a 5-day work week for this month. And it has been the best times. Despite the random partners and back-to-backs, I somehow get to work with the same few people and I'm just enjoying my work (it is definitely not boring even though I have been doing the same thing for half a year). If you ask me to continue writing on my log book, I can do it without a word of complaint because everyday I have something interesting to share.

Last Thursday, a colleague of mine, Wilma, actually helped organise a little gathering of the toys and attendants to have dinner together at TGIF. About nine showed up, to my delight, because it was so late minute and we kept changing plans because of the bad weather that has been going on here in Orlando. Although it was a short dinner and a game of Phase 10 (I'll tell you how awesome this game is in about a minute), but it felt like I have a family over here, and it was family time. I just can't explain the cozy feeling, but I was so overwhelmed with hugs and i-love-yous, I was so happy.

Phase 10 is the most awesome card game I have ever played (yes Singaporeans, it is better than Monopoly Deal, at least to me it is) and I have been playing that every break/lunch break/down set times at Splash. In case you don't know, I work every 20 minutes in the hour, and break for 40 minutes. I'm not bragging because it is a tough 20 minutes out there in the heat, but I do enjoy the long break privilege.

Tonight, it was Simon, the attendant that I love to work with so much, it was his birthday dinner at Applebee's. I had a good meal and managed to meet with some of the colleagues again for the last time. At the end of the meal, the waiter even got me and Simon free dessert! It is either that, or the rest fork out money to pay for us, it was so sweet. I was telling them in the afternoon during work that, I had bet I would cry on my last day at Splash but they were too funny that I laughed the whole day instead. And there I was, tearing at Applebee's. (Now I feel all emotional again thinking about it) I am pretty sure I gave out a hundred hugs to my colleagues these few days, and they were all that kind of really-big-and-emotional-hugs. Most of the time I get lifted off the ground because they are all pretty much 6"4' thereabout.

I guess I finally got to the sad-to-leave-my-toys part. It was like:
Phase 1: I'm not going to miss anyone because I don't really know anyone that well
Phase 2: I don't want to go home this is way too fun!
Phase 3: Gosh this program is so long when is it going to end? Seems like it'll never end
Phase 4: Omg I'm leaving soon
Phase 5: Oh yeah I'm so ready to leave
Phase 6: (Now) I am sad because I probably might never see those lovely people again
That's because I don't know if I would spend the money to visit Walt Disney World, after playing all the rides, been to all the parks for thousands of times because I have worked here for half a year, and also that my colleagues make barely enough money to pay rent, that they cannot afford to fly all the way to Singapore to visit me, don't even think about all of them coming together at one time too.

Tomorrow and the day after I will be at Tomorrowland, where I bid farewell to another group of lovely colleagues who works more often over there. I already feel sad again.

P/s: I'm definitely still on a little of phase 5 too because I'm really excited to get out of here to go meet KK, and also back to Singapore to meet all those people I said I'm going to meet.

No matter how much we complain about our lives in Singapore, we can never truly deny that all of us appreciate Singapore for what she has and our love for Singapore, even if the only reason why you're still in Singapore after complaining is because your friends and family are still here. You feel that adrenaline rush whenever you hear the crowd screaming (yes, you don't exactly call that singing do you?) those national day songs and the anthem etc, you are a true blue Singaporean if you complained at least once about Singapore yet you're still there, and you love her.

An hour before I leave for Miami, although there are a few reasons that is making me disappointed right now, but I'm still mostly feeling excited about the trip. Going to be away from Disney (oh yeah) for a few days, and because it is from Sunday to Wednesday and my usual off days are Thursdays and Fridays, I have the whole week off, with only 1 day of work on Saturday. Talk about a mini vacation! Then when I come back it is only 22 more working days, oh my. I have to be camera-ready...
Just saw pictures on Facebook for Waves, oh my gosh I look so skinny lor now I am like a big fat momma compared to those days -_- Plus I am so much darker now, I have simply given up on putting on sunblock because I practically have to put it once I wake up, then every two hours because I'm almost always exposed to sun every few hours (yes I know I should be glad I'm not working like outdoors where I am under the sun during the whole shift) I am so lazy... The only thing that is keep me depressed is that darker people tend to look more skinny? Hahaha I'm living in denial -_-
I might not be able to go on-line, but I will be on Twitter/Facebook status so watch out for quirky stuff that I will see in Miami! Hope I get to go to Love Hate Tattoo hehehe but of course I won't get a tattoo lah see see only ;)

Before I notice, I have about a month left before my internship ends. Come to think about it, despite all the 'don't feel like working' days, I really enjoy my role in this. Needless to say, the freedom here is getting so comfortable, although my parents are likely the least strict compared to many of my friends, I think I will face a problem when I am back.

As much as I miss dancing, I've been having second thoughts to returning to SDZ. So much has progressed, and honestly, even being a week or a few days away from SDZ, I already felt like I drifted from my dance mates. Away for half a year? I can't even imagine. Maybe I'll be welcomed for awhile, then I will be lost in the conversations, with nothing I can contribute since I haven't been there. I miss being taught by Ryan and An an, but I am pretty sure they have already forgotten about me too.
Sigh.
Side note to self: Must not slur my words while conversing!

It was really an eye opener, not just the auditions but the girls that I met.

Usually when we work, we don't put make up and wear crappy stuff to work because we would get changed to basics anyway, but that day everyone was prim and proper it was really a show for me lol.

But! I didn't have a chance to compete at all because they weren't even looking for Asian/Black princess/heroines at all, at that moment. So all Asians/dark skinned were turned down.

Kind of glad, I don't know how I would feel to be rejected to be a princess lol...

Just figured from Formspring that today marks half of 2011 has past. Spending so much time here, I have forgotten and neglected the fact that half a year has passed! It is just 2 more months till I will be back in Singapore, I have to say it is pretty fast (like a blink of the eye) and I am not done with the States, if I step back to look. But focusing back in, I can't wait for these 60odd days to be over! Love this job, but I will not be working full time for this crap. Either I fully utilise my abilities and knowledge to commit to my future career, or I'll just settle down as a housewife. I'm not going to be in the middle, let me reassure you. Really have not much appreciation and respect for those middle-aged people working FT character performer then think they are the big shots and look down on college program students like me. The rest says it is because they think we came all the way from overseas to get this job which might be the best job of our lives? But they have no idea in the future, the kind of higher paying and higher positions I can get compared to them, based on my academic achievements. I'm rambling but I can't help it!

Gay Days at Walt Disney World is a gay pride event held at Walt Disney World near Orlando, Florida the first week in June.
