mid-october

Hey readers (if you exist, hello^_^), I hadn't realize it has been half a month into October already, I had been so focused on the dates; 14th, 16th, 18th, my exam dates to be exact. Had been really disciplined (mostly) these 3 weeks, staying home and studying, or more like, staying home getting in study mood. Alright, I admit to going to a few birthday parties, a family dinner and half a day out with a loved one. It is strange how I have to spend a few days to do notes for a few chapters last last week, yet just yesterday before the paper today, I finished writing my notes for one whole topic in a few hours. And got it memorized and all for today. I guess I am just a habitual procrastinator like everyone else and work miraculously under pressure. Yet I am also a perfectionist and would start way early (to get in the mood I suppose) just so I can do a good job.

That aside, I decided to break the chain and blog tonight. Just wanted to express how my brain is attracted to controversy. The more people talk about how bad a celebrity is, the more I would try to see the good in them, and in the end, love them.

Okay, I had been a silent belieber for a year, appreciating his music and strength for dealing with stress and work of a performer from a young age and the never-ending supply of haters and their unappreciated opinions, for doing nothing to them. Ever since I went for one of his concert just a month ago, I am even more amazed and fascinated for someone who is just slightly more talented than all of us, but stands out as a world idol because of his hard work and efforts.

Here comes the mandatory pictures of a typical fan (I initially didn't do this but had to because of the next point I am going to write about)

From these 3 collage pictures alone (not the best I can find, but I wasn't as crazy a fan as you think I am of him) I already can see the change from a young boy to a guy trying his best to mature up to a way he wants, yet slightly conforming to society and what the public expects of him. Yes, he is a celebrity and people look up to him and parents expect him to be a role model to his youth fans. I guess celebrities would always wish they can have double identity, one for show, and one private life where they can do whatever they want.

Which brings me to the next point: Miley Cyrus.
Loved her since Hanna Montana, and hadn't budged even after her recent outrageous gigs and images portrayed. Can you just see how pretty she is?

Also, her voice is undeniably distinct and talented than so many of the singers nowadays where you cannot even tell who sang the song unless you know the singer/song title because their voices are so...common. We shouldn't just focus on what supposedly bad things celebrities do, even though we can't help it. Maybe it was her way of getting attention, but I would give her a break, and just enjoy what good she has to present to us.

This version of her song We Don't Care has been on loop since last night when I discovered its existence lol

I can go on and on...but I don't have the luxury of time now to blog. Alright, back to books... freedom in 2 days' time, on Friday :)

Ok ok... one photo of me, from today

Gah.... I miss dressing up and making myself look pretty too. Cave-woman shall return to civilization in 48 hours! Lol xoxo
